Your RSS feeds, minus the noise.

parefeed sits between your feeds and your reader and quietly removes the stories you don't want: sports in your local news, one company you're tired of reading about, spoilers for a show you haven't watched. Your reader gets a clean, private feed it can't tell apart from the original.

How it works

  1. Add a feed. Paste a site's address and parefeed finds its feeds for you, or paste a feed URL you already use, including private ones.
  2. Say what to leave out. Describe a topic in plain words ("sports", "anything about Elon Musk's companies") and an AI model judges each story against it. Or use exact keywords for things that are always spelled the same. Rules can apply to all your feeds or just one.
  3. Subscribe to your filtered feed. Each feed gets its own private URL. Put it in any RSS reader in place of the original. It's checked hourly, and stories you've filtered out never reach your reader.

Good to know

  • Nothing is hidden from you. The filtered log shows every story that was removed, why, and how confident the AI was. One click puts a story back.
  • Works with any reader. The filtered feed is standard RSS or Atom, in the same format as the original.
  • Private by default. Filtered feed URLs are long and unguessable, and you can replace one at any time.
  • No passwords. You sign in with a passkey: your device's fingerprint, face or PIN unlock.
